A week or so I ago I got some snow and black screens for a few seconds as I was switching my HDMI input to the monitor back and forth between the mini and some other devices.
Hi. I'm a long time wintel fanboi, but I found it very easy to put together a video of my trip I took last year on my gf's mac air, so i wanted to try it with a bigger machine. So i got a mini os server, put 16 gas of ram in it, and connected it to my dell 30 inch. I tried hdmi, but it seemed bland. I got a mdp to dp cable, and plugged it in, looks good at 2560 x 1600. It also works as the end of a dasiy chain with my lacie 6gb tb box.
