Didn't Tim Cook already say they have great things planed for the end of 2013 and early 2014.

I'm not expecting much before September/October.

I want an ipad 5 but i dont think it will be here till the fall same goes for the mini.. i guess i will buy a ipad 4 or may be and ipad 2 to hold me over

They put new iPads of both sizes on the shelves daily. It's called restocking. :D
As for new updated generation. Not going to happen that soon.

That doesn't negate a release of a updated item before then

That said, I think all ios stuff is on a perm shift to the fall to release with the new iOS
