Identifying this Mac Pro year

Hi

Is there a way to actually know for sure what year is this mac pro? i check on apple warranty and it says that its a 2012, is that correct? is there another way of checking? here some pics. They are selling this computer to me for aprox $1,100 USD. so thats the reason i wonder if its really a 2012.
Thanks!

That is a good price I think.

It says Mac Pro 3.2 so it's 2010, I think.

Is the price with the cinema display as well?

That seems to match the minor update that Apple did last year, so yes it looks like a 2012 system. And the serial number says it's a 2012 model.

Have a look at the memory speed. Mine was assembled in 2013, it's a Mid-2012 5.1 model. I'm guessing that could be due to different processor/speed?

Plugged the serial number here:
http://www.powerbookmedic.com/identify-mac-serial.php

And got this:
Quote:

Model Family: Mac Pro
Processor: 3.2GHz Xeon (Quad-core)
Manufacturer: Intel
# of CPUs: 2
Codename: Harpertown
Base Memory: 6GB PC3-8500 DIMM
Max Memory: 12GB
# Memory Slots: 4
Brand: Apple
Wireless: 802.11a/b/g/n
Color(s): Aluminum
Original OS: Mac OS X 10.7.4
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 5770 (1GB)
Base Storage: 1TB SATA 7200RPM 3.5"
Optical Drive: 18x DL SuperDrive

Model Number: A1289
Sales Number(s): MD772LL/A
Machine Number(s): MacPro5,1
Dimensions: 20.1 in x 8.1 in x 18.7 in
Weight: 39.9 lb
Production: Jun 11, 2012 - Present
Factory:
Production Year: 2012
Production Week: 39 (September)
Production Number: 19
I don't know how trustworthy that is. For example, I don't see how there could be two CPUs and four memory slots. I thought Mac Pro has four memory slots per CPU, so either 1&4 or 2&8.

Well the Apple Store has a refurbished model just like it for: $2139...but keep in mind that it is fully covered by Apple Care for 1 year and extendable to 3 total years.
