Adapter for dual display monitors
I'm trying to find an adapter I read about a couple days back but can not for the life of me find it again to purchase. It's an adapter that keeps both monitors active if the displays are turned off or if one is turned off the mini does not refresh to only one seen monitor instead still accounts for the second monitor. Any help?

Are you referring to a KVM switch? I'm not sure what you mean by keeping them active though.

Are you talking about some device which fools the Mac into thinking a monitor is still connected, even when it's been turned off?
That would be .... weird. What if that monitor had the menu bar?

^ Yes! I read it somewhere when I was browsing dual display monitors and cannot see, to find that page again.

I know many KVMs have that ability, so the OS isn't rearranging your desktop every time you switch to a different computer. Never seen anything like that for a stand-alone solution.
