6.1.2 has been out only a few hours. How could you know if there's any significant battery improvement already?

How do you have Gmail setup on your phone? I've set it up on mine but only seem to be able to get fetch and not push and it's driving me nuts!

Because I was using the mall app and I had it on push through exchange before January before Microsoft stopped supporting active sync

Battery life still terrible:- ![]() I'm on Smartone in HK (LTE). Usage is nothing special, just email, bit of Whatsapp and Facebook and a little bit of music.

It says that new devices can't be set up after Jan 30, 2013, but like I said ... mine still works.

I have 3 email accounts using Microsoft Exchange and I've definitely seen a massive improvement since 6.1.2 (back to pre-6.1 standards). I'm very pleased.

I have noticed since the upgrade that the percentage stayed at 100% for a longer time and seems to be keeping higher percentage numbers than I normally see with my usage.
Whether that is just a software placebo effect I can't say until more time has passed. |

If I do not use Exchange should I update to 6.1.2?
