Hey there. So I am one of those fresh newbies to Apple/Mac with all the little questions, and am trying to download Apps from the App Store. However, I am prompted to 'Review' my Apple ID each time I log in and am asked to enter credit card details before proceeding (I can't even accept my bundled iLife software). I am wondering if there is any way whereby I may skip this process - without having to create a new Apple ID - in order to access the App Store and download apps.

Thank you in advance :)

You can buy an iTunes gift card and input the code for it, or just add your billing info and then remove it right after. Had you followed these steps to create an AppleID you'd only need to provide billing info for a paid app.
