Hi all im new to the world of mac but glad i made the move.
I have downloaded AVI files over the years, transferred them to a USB stick and played them on my tv.
But after downloading a few files today when i try to play them on the tv all i get is "Invalid File".
They play ok on my imac using VLC player but the tv will not play them.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Regards Robo

Did you make sure to select the correct .avi file on the TV? Mac OS X creates two files for one file, one is a small file to store arbitrary data, which (the file) is hidden in Mac OS X, but becomes visible in Windows or other devices.

I see what you mean as the small files were at the top and the actual files i needed were hidden at the bottom.
Many thanks for that :)
