Photoshop Elements Trial

Hi,

I wandered if I could ask some advice. I want to install Photoshop elements 11 trial onto my Macbook but Adobe website says minimum system requirements are:

Mac OS X v10.6 through v10.8
1GB of RAM (2GB for HD video functions)
4GB of available hard-disk space (additional free space required during installation)

Mine is a Macbook OS X 10.5.8, with 2GB of memory. I connected an external hard drive to boost the memory and tried downloading the trial but Adobe said system requirements not met. Is there another way? Should I look out for an older version of Photoshop that may require less memory?

Cheers

You might need to upgrade your operating system to Snow Leopard (10.6) or later.
