so i have a imac 7,1 and Mid 2010 macbook pro. i got asked to trade both for a Fully loaded 2011 iMac. i do videos, with final cut pro 7/x after effects cs6, cinema 4d, motion, etc.. do you think i should keep my computers?

i will miss my laptop just cause i can carry it, but one of the memory slots is out so it only reads 1.. the track pad gives out sometimes.. the imac has a bad hardrive that i will replace before the trade.. just looking to see if its worth the trade! thanks guys!

If it was me, I would do it for sure. Looks like a great deal, just be sure you won't miss the mobility of your MacBook.

Yeah that looks like a great deal, I would probably go along with the trade.. Your getting a really powerful iMac & you'll definitely see a difference in the type of work your doing..

As long as you don't need a laptop, I'd say go for it =)
