If this question has already been asked please bear with me.
My Video students and myself use iMovie 0.6 extensively.
We use a lot of disk space and need to add another external HDD to our 3.5 TB (over 4 external HDDs) Please we would like to ask your opinion about the choice between a USB or Firewire interface. The USB is cheaper. Should this be the reason to go for it ? Please are there tangible advantages for choosing the Firewire ?
We have a G5 (NON-Intel) PPC Dual 2 GHz
OS X 10.4.11-7 GB DDR2 SDRAM.
Sincerely
Sally Syrose

I'm a rolling stone.
Firewire is your only choice with video software, USB will work but by no means as good as Firewire, and firewire isn't too expensive anymore like it was in the beginning.
I think you should have FW 800 on the G5, go for that one, not FW 400
