I still use my iPad1 every day. Yes, I would like to upgrade to the new iPad4, but.....and this is the important bit......the iPad1 still does what I want it to do.

I spend my money on things that work, not just to be seen with the latest and greatest of Apple's machines.

Anyway, whatever type of iPad you are using now, will be sure to be superseded next year. You buy your new iPad/iPad mini/iPhone5S and I'll just have a few beers!
