Read the forum rules please!

Op - which mini do you have?

If its an older shape without the hdmi port you need a standard headphone jack to whatever connection is on the tv. If its the newer shape then audio is carried over the hdmi cable.

If you have an HDMI port on your mini you need just one HDMI cable for both video and audio. If you do not have a mini with an HDMI port, you can get an optical (TOSLINK) cable that plugs into the standard headphone jack and into the optical audio in found on most HDTVs.
