How much is this mac pro worth?

I've got one freind who wants to sell it to another, she got me to clear it all off and sort it all out, but she has no idea how much to ask him for it..... Bearing in mind they're freinds so they want a fair deal all round, and obviously there's no warranty.

So how much would a specced up mac like this be worth (im in the UK, so and $ ill convert them using a currency converter) - I've really got no idea.

Specs:
Intel Quad core 2.8 xeon processor
6GB RAM
DVDRW
1.8TB RAID0 (3 disk)
650GB Main HD

One of the RAID drives does need attention or replacing though.

Any price suggestions for something like that?

As a starting point, you can check Mac2Sell, eBay (including completed sales), or Amazon for prices of similar models, to get an idea of what a reasonable price may be. Then adjust the price to account for condition, configuration, remaining AppleCare coverage (if any), etc.

I would say....

between $550-700 tops. They have the choice of replace the defective disc or get a 25% off the price, IMHO.

I know you've got it sorted but that's probably not the best idea. Used macs are a lot cheaper in the states. It's probably best to look at prices in the local market.

It went for £550. I think they were both happy with that. Of course he wants me to fix it up now
