Trying to get iPhoto and iMovie back on 5.1.1 iPad 3
Ok just got my 3rd gen yesterday running 5.1.1 and I will not upgrade but I need iPhoto and iMovie. Can I use Iphone config utility to put it on thre?

You can trick the installation by changing the SystemVersion.plist setting a lower required iOS version.
They will install but then the programs will llikely crash since they require API's from iOS 6 |

Is there another way to do it? If I have an older version on iTunes, can I sync that on?

did you have a previous version of iphoto or imovie installed on another ios device in the past? if you sync apps with your computer it may have an older copy of the app stored that is compatible with 5.1.1

Ok I got them back but it deleted all other apps
o well thanks to iCloud, I still have them
|
