Removed BootCamp Partition but didn't get the space back
This morning, I attempted to remove the Windows partition on my MBA 2011 WITH bootcamp assistant. I got an error saying it couldn't complete and the install windows 7 is grayed out. However, when I go into disk utility, it doesn't show the bootcamp partition anymore(even when I show hidden partition). I was going to do a clean install but the ML usb drive I have but it just shows the prohibitory sign so I restored from backup in ML recovery. I still don't have my space back
. I read online that someone was told to boot into safe mode but when I try to do it, my computer boots normally. What do I do?!

Anyone have any tips? I just did the same thing with Windows 8 Preview on a 2012 MBA and have the same problem.
