circle on dates on my android calendar?

Using my Note2 im noticing a date that has a circle over it in my calendar. Anyone know why it is circled?

I'm not using a Note 2 or a TouchWiz based phone at the moment but I would assume that means you have an event? Did you click on the day to see if you do?

You have a bad calendar then. It only circles the current date
