I don't have an Apple store close to me. I need to take a ferry boat and travel about 6 hours one way. Then stay in that city for who knows how long for a replacement only hoping my replacement has a Samsung screen.

I have a LG display panel, it's quite nice.
When compared side by side with my wife's Samsung, there's hardly any difference. She's a graphic artist & unaware of this issue, or that Apple uses two suppliers for that matter. Therefore I thought there's no better test than to ask her if she notices a difference between hers or mine. She's very picky. I asked if she noticed any difference. She said mine had slightly better contrast. Yet not enough to matter. Interesting indeed. |
