Water damaged my Macbook - advice

OK so water damaged by Unibody 2011 Macbook Pro 15". Claimed on insurance, went and bought a 15" Retina Macbook Pro as the replacement.

Now I have a Macbook Pro which won't turn on. Whats the best thing to do with it? Pay to get it repaired and sell it as used, or sell it as spare parts?

Haha OK I'll take that part out...it was hypothetical

But the other options? What would you do?

I would just sell as spare parts because it would cost a lot to fix and you wouldn't get a ton for a 2011 machine.
