If you give it a chance to actually get used to it, you will love it. It's the best keyboard ever made. Sure, it's not that clicky, but the shape is second to none.

You could try Octopus Keyboard which looks like it could speed up typing. I haven't tried it because I heard that it disables autocorrect and doesn't play well with biteSMS. I like both of those things so I'm not going to bother.

Ocotpus Keyboard

Swype is another that may help you. It replicates an option that Android phones have.

I'm fine with the way things work so I haven't tested either of these.
