Hello Everyone,

Currently I don’t have a Mac computer (poor me), but I am aware of the fact that Apple has included built-in zip support in Mac OS. Still, I do not have any idea whether files compressed using Windows OS (Right Click -Send to - Compressed Zip folder) work with Mac OS without any third-party program or not? I have some files in zip format that I want to send to my clients who are using Mac.

So, can anybody here please tell me if files compressed in Windows will work on a Mac or not? In a folder you will find a HTML document by the name of "Privacy", open it up in Safari, does it display like a plain text or with proper formatting? Please download the attached Zip file and let me know about the outcome. I will be really grateful, thanks!

Zip files created in Windows are 'extractable' in OS X and vice versa. OS X even has its own built-in archive manager (just like Windows).

Just to put your mind at ease:
