iPhoto & iPad problem

I have IPhoto on my IMac and IPad. When I attempt to sync photos from the IMac to the IPad not all my photos make it. I've got a couple that are stuck on the IMac and refuse to move to the IPad. I've tried re-editing them, saving them with different names, different formats - nothing works. Got any ideas on what to try?

To sync photo from iPhoto to iPad, you use iTunes.

I'm using ITunes, they don't sync and am trying to figure out why.
