God, why does everyone power their machine so freaking fast!?
When you get water damage, you dry it out for at least a week preferably in a rice. Now you basically killed the machine there. I would just send it in for repair but its going to cost a pretty good price.

If this is not the case you should check for corrosion in/on the connectors and clean them well. Corrosion will start to be a problem after water is left inside for a while. Water also leaves behind residue so clean as good as you can. |

I just resurrected a Windows laptop my mother spilled her drink (wine and orange juice) on the keyboard, it was on. I knew the MB and related circuits required cleaning to remove the acidic beverage.
So I disassembled and cleaned with distilled water and finally rinsed with alcohol to remove any residue ionic contamination. I even baked the MB at 180F for 45 minutes to dry out the parts. Put it back together and...... NOTHING (day 1). The power circuit was functional, it would power on, the drives would initialize, but no display internal or external. So I set it aside and decided to check the next day. Powered it on, same issue (day2). Maybe time for a new machine. On day 3, I tried it one more time. WORKED!!!! So the lesson is let it dry out, yusukeaoki is absolutely correct. Also, be patient. In a few days it might start working again. good luck Jim |

I would take the computer and rinse all the parts in deionized water (or maybe distilled water if you don't have access to the former).
Then go buy a ton of desiccant. Let the parts air dry while you wait for the dessicant to arrive. When it arrives, put everything with the desiccant in a sealed bag and wait a couple days before opening it and then put the computer back together.
