No display after water damage..help!

Hello all,
i have macbook pro 15" A1286 board MC723LL/A
it was with water damage, i was clean all and everything work fine i heard the sound of the power up but no display.
i was connect the screen to diffrent working macbook and the screen is fine..its somthing with the ic's on the board(i think)
i dont find any schemes for this board..someone can help?

i dont have video out cable to check..
i found a scheme but there is no positions for the caps...

God, why does everyone power their machine so freaking fast!?
When you get water damage, you dry it out for at least a week preferably in a rice.

Now you basically killed the machine there.
I would just send it in for repair but its going to cost a pretty good price.

i didnt turn it on i first open it clean and then turn it on..
i know that its somthing with one of the cups..

If you opened it and cleaned it you might have not reassembled it good again, might be a loose connector.
If this is not the case you should check for corrosion in/on the connectors and clean them well.
Corrosion will start to be a problem after water is left inside for a while.
Water also leaves behind residue so clean as good as you can.

I just resurrected a Windows laptop my mother spilled her drink (wine and orange juice) on the keyboard, it was on. I knew the MB and related circuits required cleaning to remove the acidic beverage.

So I disassembled and cleaned with distilled water and finally rinsed with alcohol to remove any residue ionic contamination.

I even baked the MB at 180F for 45 minutes to dry out the parts.

Put it back together and...... NOTHING (day 1).
The power circuit was functional, it would power on, the drives would initialize, but no display internal or external.

So I set it aside and decided to check the next day.
Powered it on, same issue (day2). Maybe time for a new machine.

On day 3, I tried it one more time. WORKED!!!!


So the lesson is let it dry out, yusukeaoki is absolutely correct.
Also, be patient. In a few days it might start working again.

I would take the computer and rinse all the parts in deionized water (or maybe distilled water if you don't have access to the former).

Then go buy a ton of desiccant. Let the parts air dry while you wait for the dessicant to arrive. When it arrives, put everything with the desiccant in a sealed bag and wait a couple days before opening it and then put the computer back together.
