Hi everyone,

I want to type Korean Hangul on my Mac, however I don't know which "variation" to use. If you don't know what I mean, check out the screenshot below - Under "Hangul" in the system preferences there's several different character sets. Which one do I use if I want to type in standard Korean?

Thank you very much!

The 2-set Korean is like the QWERTY of Korean keyboards - the most common of them all. That would be your best start, IMO. I'm not familiar with the other modes, and Romaja mean you phonetically type Korean with Roman letters and it converts to Hangul.

Ah, I see - The romaja ones are for when you want to type roman and have in convert into Hangul, and the 2-set is for when you want to actually have every letter on your keyboard assigned to one hangul character, which represents a sound.

Thank you!
