imac 27...lately i keep losing my connection,I can be on a web page and next thing it seems to just freeze up and I have to re-connect to my wi-fi,I know that I can replace my hard drive(1TB) as apple says it may be faulty,is maybe that causing me the connection problem??? any help is greatly appreciated.

You're not clear here, are you losing the wireless connection or does your browser lock up?

Since you went away I edit this one:

If you are disconnected from wifi regularly then adding your wifi network in Network Preferences might work.
It's under Advanced in your airport network preference Pane.

It may not be your iMac, could be your router.

Do you have any other wi-fi enabled devices you could test with?

No.. your hard drive wont cause whatever you have going on to happen.. unless your flux capacitor is going bad. You should call Apple and ask if they still cover those.
