Monitor for my T2i - suggestions?

I need a monitor.
cheap.
battery powered.
HDMI i guess?

just need to be able to attach it to my camera for when i use my jib.
pull focus not needed.

try this:
take an empty pop can, place it on the floor, smash it flat, now try to pull it back to how it was.
see how it looks like crap? that's called compression

The Lilliput 668GL is probably about the cheapest they come (under $200). You can attach it to the camera with a shoe mount.

Most of the other small on-camera monitors from Marshall, etc. cost significantly more but do have more features.

it looks liike this one is HD. that means I can do pull focus too?

I need to have a 10ft cable. Can I do that with HDMI?

I use a liliput 869GL.

I bought some bare batteries off ebay, put some heavy velcro on them and use them. I can get a full day of shooting out of it no problems.

It accepts an 1920x1080 signal, but the actual screen resolution is 800x640. That's actually not too shabby for a 7" monitor and you should be able to pull focus on it pretty well.

Sure you can. Modern HDMI cables should have no problem sending a signal over 10 ft. This cable from Monoprice should work fine and it's only 4 bucks.
