iPhoto Faces Wheel Won't Stop Spinning

Hi All. I have a mid-2010 MBP and am running Mountain Lion. Within the past week or so, I have noticed any time I open iPhoto, the wheel next to Faces is spinning constantly. I have found suggestions to delete any movies in iPhoto so I have done that, closed iPhoto, and re-opened it, but the issue still exists. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks!

P.S. - I have done some searching, but the only suggestions I can find are from numerous years ago so I don't know that they apply any longer.
