Looking for a monitor for gaming and movies under 500USD

Hi guys,

the titel says it all. I am looking for a monitor that I can hook up with my MBPR to watch movies and play games (SC2, Max Payne3).

I had a look but I am a bit overwhelmed with the amount of options.

Any suggestions?

It's not "the best", but I suggest the Sony PS3 24". $159 plus a $15-20 mini display port to HDMI cable. For the price it's a great deal.
