IP adress information

Hello to everyone!

I was wonderring if, the "police" could track my IP Adress or MAC Adress if my laptop is off, or if they can only locate me if my laptop is on and connected to the internet?

Click here to see what information is available from your IP address. No, a device doesn't have a traceable IP Address unless it's connected to the internet.

Gotta be on and connected. You'll also need something like Find My Mac or Prey setup, installed and running.
