Help! External HDD won't show up in Finder
Hello everyone,
I need some help regarding my WD external hard drive. It has been working fine up until today, when I plugged my brother's external hard drive into my macbook to copy some files. I dragged and dropped the files from his hard drive onto my external hard drive. After they had finished importing, my hard drive ejected itself and now won't show up on the desktop of my mac. It also does not show up in Disk Utilities. The hardrive from which I copied the data has only ever been used on a windows machine prior to this. Could this be the cause? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks! |

Does the problematic HDD show up in Windows or at least in Windows > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management?
