Ripit question (code for registration)

I am updating my Mac Mini (to Mountain Lion) and I think I will do a fresh install because it seem to lag a little. All thr Mac Min has on it has is a few apps on it (RipIt), the iTunes stuff is on an external hard drive.
Now when i got Ripit, I used an old email address that I do not have anymore. If I go under Registration and see my name with a code, is that the code I use to reactivate it to use again?
I did email them, but not answer yet.
