Geekbench for maxed out Haswell 27" iMac?

Ive just ordered my new maxed out iMac (27" 3.5ghz i7 1TB SSD) I will be adding 32GB RAM after market. Does anyone have a Geekbench score for their new maxed out (or near enough) iMac? Much appreciated in advance!

As a side note how does the PCIe feel compared to the SATA SSD?

There's a current thread (iMac 2013 i7 3.5ghz - SSD speed test) covering the speed tests on the PCIe SSD. The 10th post in the thread is for the 1TB SSD.

Geekbench 2, 64-bit, iMac i7 3.5GHz, 1TB SSD, 32GB Crucial RAM:

It's noticeably quicker than the top-spec late 2012 iMac. You will be impressed, I'm sure!

Thanks for this! That's a very high score indeed & the new SSD looks super fast. I'm thinking that might even outstrip the new baseline MacPro judging by some Xeon E5 Quad-Core benches I saw recently, maybe not though.

I ordered on the 08 October and delivery is expected 21 - 24 Oct. Im in the UK so might be a little longer over here. Can't come soon enough as I'm currently computer-less.

I'm also in the UK. I ordered on 3rd October and it was delivered on the 10th, ahead of the estimate of 14 - 16 October. It was assembled in Ireland and shipping took just 2 days with UPS (Cork - Dublin - Tamworth - home delivery). Maybe yours will be preparing for shipment soon?

Not really sure how it can be noticeably quicker than the top-spec late 2012 iMac. A fresh install is likely the biggest thing. Late 2012 high-end model gets about 14,000.

I think it's more about the PCIe in comparison to the SATA SSD, and on paper there is a significant boost in performance. The 2013 version does feel noticeably more responsive in general use. Of course the top-spec 2012 model was already very fast, so any improvement isn't going to be particularly dramatic.

Nice - My late 2012 topped out with 512 Flash Did 14,250 range, but after installing Maverics I got a score of slightly over 14,800, which was interesting. The flash speed is the real winner on the 2013. Very Nice indeed.

I wish there was an easy way to do a test between my MP 4,1 and this maxed out iMac. Specifically an Adobe Premiere render. Would really help me see the performance gap (if any).

I'm curious how the maxed out models compare to the model I have.

I can't run 64-bit geekbench.. can someone run 32-bit on their maxed out model and compare it to my score of 13,360?

The only difference is 32GB ram instead of 16GB, and SSD instead of Fusion. I'm curious how much difference that makes.

this is my 27" iMac 2012

24GB Ram, 3,4 GHz i7, Nvidia 680 MX, started with mavericks on an external USB 3.0 Drive I get this numbers: (it would be even higher with mavericks on the internal SSD)

Does the hard drive affect Geekbench scores? Because I heard from some places saying that the 512GB SSDs were faster than the 1TB SSDs.

PS I ordered the 512GB SSD because most of my stuff is already on a Promise Pegasus R6, so I don't need a 1TB SSD.

No. Geekbench is impacted by the CPU and memory speed.

Why do you think your score is so high? All the others that I've found at Geekbench have been much lower.

I ran my i5 27 inch iMac (3.4,8gb ram, 780m) on the free 32 bit test and only score about 11,000 on geekbench. Is pretty ballpark for what I should expect. I see all these much higher scores and wonder ....I know many are the i7s with extra ram, but I'm curious. Please advise ...I'm an iMac newbie.
