I am currently a PC user and will be making the switch. I will be purchasing the new imac once it is released for AVID MC use.

I am reading through some article on keeping your NLE system running smoothly. They say to be "updating your video card drivers"

With a MAC, do I have to specifically check each drive to make sure everything is up to date and running smoothly. Or is that more of a PC issue, and as long as the OS is up to date, im good?

Thoughts?
