Restore Time Machine backup to Fusion Drive?
I bought a one of the late 2012 iMacs when they were released with 1TB 5,400rpm hard drive. I'm now replacing it for one with a Fusion Drive.
Presumably restoring a Time Machine backup to the new Fusion Drive won't be an issue? I'm just wondering about some of the settings it might bring across and whether that could impact performance.

Don't know about the setting but it works without a hitch. I migrated my 2010 iMacs Time Machine backup first to my new 2012 iMac and then a second time to the replacement.

Will be fine. Time Machine back-ups don't touch drivers.
