Hello folks, I need your help really quick.

I'm wanting to upgrade a 2.16ghz Core2Duo iMac (White Plastic, I believe late 2006 model)

What type of RAM would I need? DDR2, I know.

Is this Desktop ram, or Laptop ram?
I'm upgrading it to 4gb, although I know it only technically supports 3gb.

How much should I expect to pay for something like this?
And what would happen if I were to install some DDR3 1066 chips instead? Would it just downclock?

The White Plastic Intel iMacs uses DDR2 667 MHz Laptop Memory.

You can not put in DDR3 Memory since it will not fit in to the slots in the iMac.
