Hello everyone. For some reason the front facing camera on my 64GB iPod touch has not been working for a while and I can only assume it's a hardware problem. I attempted restoring the device and that did not work. I am pretty sure that if I take it to the Apple store they will go ahead and replace it but I am currently running iOS 7.0. Due to the fact that this software has not been released yet should I worry that they might not replace it for this fact and just hold off until next week when the software is officially released?

Secondly, earlier today my device dropped and the screen cracked. How does this affect me going into the Apple Store and asking them about the front camera not working? Would they attempt to blame the front camera not working on the physical condition of the device although it has not been working for weeks now?

Please let me know, any help is much appreciated
