Here is a quick online guide outlining the RAM and drive access and upgrade procedure.

The obstacle may come when you want to place the LCD back.
According to my source from Quanta Computer near Shanghai (that is where almost all apple computers are manufactured), Apple struggled a lot to solve the glue issue.
