Yes, I just noticed that, too. A very talented musician - and yes, those wonderful and effortlessly confident and vibrant organ sections, they were really extremely good, and instantly recall some of the music of that era..

Ray was very talented musician. The Doors was one of the few bands without an official bass player. Ray played all the bass parts on his organ on the early albums. Later on they hired session bass players.
