Monitor adapter/cable for TB to DP
I've been on a MBP for the last 6 years and am trying to catch up on display technology. I am totally confused after researching this for the last 30 minutes.
My intent: Attached this monitor (http://www.necdisplay.com/p/desktop-...s/pa241w-bk-sv) to a 2012 Mac Mini. My understanding is that I need a cable (or adapter) that runs from the Thunderbolt on the Mini to the DisplayPort on the NEC. Do I need to purchase a special cable for this, or an adapter, or what? Is there a recommended brand to buy?

Thunderbolt can also be used by a Mini Displayport cable.
Get one of these Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cables: http://www.monoprice.com/products/su...&cs_id=1024606 Pick whatever size you need. |
