Those of you who get FAN Discounts

Do you get the discount of the iPhone data plan and text messaging or just the voice plan?

I used to get our FAN discount on the iPhone data plan but it stopped at some point.

Verizon or AT&T?

With AT&T, the FAN discount applies to any charge that is "$25 and Up"... I have a 21% discount...

My Plan:
$40 - 450 Minutes
$25 - 2 GB Data Pro
$20 - Unlimited messaging

Therefore, I get 21% off of $40+$25.... but no discount on the $20 messaging charge. And it only applies to the phone number the discount is applied to

My FAN discounts voice and data. 20% discount.

Not all FANs are created equal, though. Some will discount data, others won't.

I get 19% off voice and data on AT&T. If you go the route of the shared plan, you get a discount on the base plan but not on the $35 per smartphone charge.

I got AT&T FAN long time ago with my previous employer.
Now have to switch to Verizon and I checked - no more discount. I guess I am screwed...

I have a family plan with AT&T, each line has grandfathered unlimited data. I get 25% off of primary line for voice which is $60-25%= $45. And 25% each line for unltd data, each line is $30-25%= $22.50/line.

I also have 1 VZW line with grandfathered unlimited data and I get same discount as above and I also get the discount on the unltd mobile hotspot.

Pepsico is 23% on voice and data plans for each line on my account although I only have one. I play with the add a line a thing every now and then and it discounts the hypothetical line also.

I have 25% off data+voice and for all lines. I'm still on the 550 family plan and my FAN only applies to this voice and the 2 data plans I have (unlimited and 2gb). If I change to anything else I no longer receive the discounts. for 2 iphones and a clam phone with no texting my charge is $106 after taxes.

25% is pretty darn good.. i only get 18%

I get 19% off voice with VZW. However, my company has an agreement that our employees can still sign up for unlimited corporate data; albeit at $35 a month

It depends on your company's contract with AT&T, but I noticed that I had a discount on my iPhone 4 2GB data feature; however, I needed to use hotspot one time, and when I tried to go back, I could only choose 3GB, and that feature didn't get the FAN discount

Fortunately, when I got my iPhone 5, that got the FAN discount again

The FAN discount also applies to the voice plan, but not to messaging, but again that could depend on your company's contract with AT&T.

I am on FamilyTalk Nation 550 plan with 2 lines

I get 21% FAN Discount on the following

49.99/month plan charge
$30 unlimited data plan on primary
$25 2GB data plan on the secondary

When I worked for AT&T, this is going back a couple years, the FAN discount was just off the Primary lines minute plan.

It really depends on the FAN discount.

Mine gives me a discount on the talk plan and the 5GB data, but not messaging or the 3GB data.

IDK about other FAN's but I only got a discount off the voice and text plans. Data has been $30 flat since I added the FAN.
