As a starting point, you can check Mac2Sell, eBay (including completed sales), or Amazon for prices of similar models, to get an idea of what a reasonable price may be. Then adjust the price to account for condition, configuration, remaining AppleCare coverage (if any), etc.

Somewhere!
This is a good price new. If it is sealed and has warranty. Amazon & Ebay have them selling new from $1000-1100.

it's a good deal but not a steal. it is the older version with USB 2.0, slower ssd, and (shorter) battery life.

there were the new 13inch refurbs from apple on eBay for $899... same 1 year warranty and a better machine.

edit: also with the new models coming out in the somewhat near future, the price will drop even lower.

I've owned both 2011 and 2012 MBA in the past and I would pass on the deal wether its new, used, or refurb on the 2011 model.

Have you played around with the 11? I bought one in the store to test for a few days (in real world setting) and while it was awesomely small, I couldn't stand it at the same time. The battery life also wasn't great compared to the 13. But the 128gb hd and 8gb ram is a big upgrade for the 11. Seems really cheap.

$700 is a good price for the 13 as well.

It's a steal at $600 and you're trying to lowball the seller? That's sad. Where'd you find it? I'll give the seller asking price. Sheesh.
