My question would be: Who keeps a huge collection of adult photos anymore on their local machine, except for someone who produces such media for a living? Isn't that what the Internet is for? I am hard pressed (no pun intended) to think of a place where one might need that much gettin' off material and not be near a Internet connection of some sort.
...And don't say airplane, because (1) if you're rich enough to be alone, you won't be in the air that long; and (2) if you're flying commercial... well, you really don't wanna be known as THAT guy. Keep your paws off your privates until the hotel, horndog.
To the OP: I don't know a short-term solution, but you may want to consider syncing a smaller subset of your... ahem... inspirational illustrations in the future, to avoid being unable to update apps and such.
