Help I need a NERD!! (Classic not supported)

I recently came across some old software for window and mac that I used for my kids. I would like to use them with my grandkids. When I load the disk I get a message that say classic platform not supported. Is there any way to run a classic os as an app or alternate environment?
Please help!!

You may be able to run it as a virtual machine.

There is.
But it's not easy to accomplish -- however, it CAN be done.
It will take time and learning on your part -- perhaps hours' worth. Only you can decide if it's worth the trouble and effort.

Open a google search page and enter this string:
"coi chubby bunny"

You will be on the way to finding your solution...

You could try Sheepshaver (A virtual machine… you can find guides online on how to use it and where to find an OS to boot)

What are the apps? Perhaps there are newer versions or alternatives that run on the modern platform?

Classic Mac apps are very old and designed for completely different CPU architecture and hardware. You can emulate the environment, but it's practically the same as emulating an Amiga or Commodore on an Intel Mac. There's nothing of the original inside a modern Mac. In fact, it's easier to run a virtual instance of Windows 8 on a modern Mac than it is to run Mac OS 7.
