Verizon iPhone 5 With AT&T?
Stupid question...please humor me. I'm a Verizon customer who jumped from the AT&T in a fit of anger/stupidity. Now I want to come back "home" to AT&T...but I traded my AT&T 4S to Verizon to purchase my current iPhone 5.
Once & for all...can I use the Verizon iPhone 5 successfully on the AT&T voice/data network simply by switching SIM card to an AT&T one? I always thought since VZW uses CDMA & AT&T uses GSM technology, this isn't possible . Thanks. |

You may want to ask this in the regular iPhone forum, is your question " will your Verizon iPhone work on the AT&T network".
I do not think so, I think it would work over seas.

Yes, the verizon i5 will work with any gsm sim card.
I have a verion i5 on one of the lines on my AT&T family plan. Everything works like it should but it will not be able to access AT&T's LTE network. Just HSPA+ 3G. If that doesnt bother you go for it. If you want to be able to get the crazy fast LTE speeds then sell it and get an AT&T iphone 5. |
