2011 iMac Dillema

I was all set to get a new 2012 iMac, but recently have an opportunity to pick up a 10 month old 2011 iMac 21.5 inch base model for $650. I was wondering what everyone's thoughts on this are - is that a good price. Seems performance wise it should be fine for me since I'll just be doing basic tasks. Thanks.

If you were looking at getting a base 2012 then I'd go w/ the 2011 no question, providing it's in good shape and has some warranty left. Applecare would be a bonus.
