LCD Advice for Mac Classic Mod?
I've been tirelessly searching for a good option for this...
I picked up and gutted an old Mac Classic in the hopes of doing a cheap mod on it. My basic idea is to install a Raspberry Pi in there and a monitor. Something simple for processing, media, music, etc. My ISSUE is finding an LCD to fit the 9" of viewing that's not $200+. Basically I'd need a 10". Lilliput's stuff is pricey. I mean I'd be crazy to spend that kind of money on a low-cost mod just for the LCD. One idea I had was to have my iPad as a sort of VNC dock -- slide the ipad in when I want to use the Pi. Not sure what solutions there are for this right now, though, and whether it's fast enough for normal use. Anyway, though I'd ask the experts on here! Thanks |

Now I don't know if this is completely possible, but couldn't you use an iPad 1 as an external monitor for an early Intel Mini?
