Has iphoto replaced anyone's stock photo app?

I'm liking it more and more. Getting the USB and SD card lightning adapters made a big difference in the iPad's utility for photos and videos for iMovie. (I use the Mini).

It is nearly as useful on the iPhone, albeit without the import utility.
