AirPlay and iPhone Remote App not working after iOS upgrade?

I've got a G2 Apple TV running iOS 5.1. I just updated my iP5 with iOS 6.0.1 yesterday.

I'm not able to AirPlay from my phone to this Apple TV (don't see it in the pick list when I click the ap button). Not sure if the iOS upgrades on the two devices are connected/causing to the problem though. Eerything worked as usual last weekend before I performed either upgrade.

btw- the ATV2 connects just fine to Netflix etc.- so its def on my network.

Anyone else having problems connecting?
