No way they'll stick with the same A5 - the extra pixel burden would make it run slower than a 1st gen. At the very least they'll use an A5X so it'll be roughly CPU equivalent to the current mini/iPad2, but GPU equivalent to the iPad3. If they want to go really upmarket, they'll use an A6X like the iPad4.

I was really hoping that the Mini 2 is released in March. But the rumors point to October / November. Might as well buy a Mini now and get the Mini 2 later.
