For me the portability of the mini makes up for the lack of retina though it does bug me a little when I switch from my rMBP or iPhone 5. However, I will be first in line for a retina mini when it drops!

The screen has nothing to do with the mini's appeal.

If you desire retina the mini is not for you.

Really old hearing same old opinions. YES, the mini's screen is not as good as retina. Can we move past this?

For the record, I have a mini and rmbp 15". Love both.
