Can I use Logitech MX1000 Laser Mouse

I have an unopened Logitech MX1000 Laser Mouse. Since I have read of it being a superlative mouse, I am considering using it when I soon buy an Apple MacBook Pro with Retina Display, but does anyone know if there will be a problem using it with a new Mac; i.e., do current drivers support the new Macs?

You may have to update the Logitech mouse control software.

Or, as an alternative, you could use either "USB Overdrive" or "SteerMouse" to set up and control the mouse. Both are excellent utilities.

Otherwise, it should be a good mouse on the Mac!
